Julia Stuart is a former print journalist turned sportscaster.
She has a BA in “Film and Media Production” and also holds an Honours Degree in “Media Theory and Practice” both from the University of Cape Town.
At Independent Newspapers she covered rugby, cricket and football and continued to report on multiple sporting codes when she moved to the E News Channel Africa as a reporter/anchor and then later at SuperSport’s 24-hour sports news channel SuperSport Blitz.
Julia joined SuperSport in 2015 and is a studio anchor and pitch-side reporter for SuperSport’s many football properties including the DSTV Premiership, cup competitions in South Africa and Premier League TV internationally.
She has anchored matchday presentations for the FIFA World Cup, UEFA European Championships, Olympic Games, Africa Cup of Nations, FIFA Women’s World Cup and UEFA Europa League.
Julia hosts La Liga Loca Africa, a show commissioned by La Liga to offer an African focus on the best of the Spanish top flight
Julia was named the 2021 Woman in TV at the Momentum Gsport Awards.
In 2019 she won the SAB Sports Video Media Presenter of the Year for this interview.
